History
Nevill Business Machines Inc. was founded in 1975 as an independent
dealership marketing Singer Calculators. Shortly after, Nevill logically transitioned
to typewriter sales and maintenance. 1997 marked an exciting time for Nevill Business
Machines; Reed Allan Melnick purchased 50% of the business and became a co-owner.
In 1998, they formed Nevill Imaging Solutions, a subsidiary of
Nevill, to operate in the Ft. Worth Texas territory. Later that
same year, we made our first acquisition in the Dallas marketplace.
In 1999 Nevill acquired Remco Office Machines, a 27-year-old Dallas Company,
extending our own product line to include Canon and Oki Data. In 2001, we expanded
into South Texas, with locations in Corpus Christi, Harlingen, McAllen, and Laredo
Texas. In 2002, Nevill opened its international operation in Reynosa, Mexico,
our first expansion to occur outside the United States. Nevill has recently acquired
Copiers Now, an e-commerce copier website based in Dallas, Texas. In 2004, Mr.
Melnick purchased the remaining half of Nevill and is now the sole owner.
In the same year Mr. Melnick lead us to 12,000,000.00 in revenue. Through internal
growth and acquisitions, Nevill estimates fiscal 2007 revenues to top 15,000,000.00 dollars.
Our Dun & Bradstreet
Rating of 3A1 is one of the highest in our industry.
